RS3 (8Y) Racingline Power Control Module Frustrating, isn’t it? The latest 8Y generation of RS3 cannot yet be tuned via the traditional methods. PCM is RacingLine’s new tuning solution, developed exclusively for the Audi RS3 8Y with the 2.5 TFSI Evo engine. PCM stands for ‘Power Control Module’ and is our way of bringing your new car to life with more power and torque. Easily installed, and easily removed at any time without a trace. We offer two PCM Install Kits – one for the OPF/GPF models and another for the non-OPF cars. Please check with your supplying dealer if you’re not sure which your car is. Expect a power increase to 450HP and 600Nm. Not only that, but these are beautifully smooth and progressive gains, right throughout the rev-range. How PCM works PCM works on a standalone PCB, which communicates with the factory ECU. Developed by RacingLine’s own in-house calibration experts over the past 12 months, it allows the car to safely increase power and torque levels. Of course, we know that many customers will want to have a full ECU calibration as soon as it’s available – and who can blame them? So uniquely, RacingLine will give any PCM customer a free upgrade to our OEM calibrations as soon as they are available, whenever you are ready – as long as you purchase your PCM unit from one of our OEM dealers.
