Description 1 x EXTRA LARGE Shock Absorber Heat Shrink, Clear 80mm x 800mm. Part No:- GL1254, EXTRA LARGE Shock Absorber Protection Heat Shrink Weight:- 0.5Kg Fits:– All Larger Diameter shock absorbers, also Shock Absorbers with a lower T pin Fixing like Discovery 2 Front and Steering Dampers up to 80mm diameter Heat Shrink Diameter:- 80mm Heat Shrink Length:- 800mm Please note this is the EXTRA LARGE 80mm Heat Shrink, if you want the normal 60mm standard one look for GL1249 A known problem with shock absorbers is stones chipping the paint off causing the shock to rust, especially the rear shocks as stones from the front tyres get flung to the shock absorbers. By using this heat shrink you will be protecting the shock absorber as the stones will now be able to bounce off the shock absorber, not causing the paint to chip. One 800mm length is enough to do 2 shock absorbers. Can also be used on Steering Dampers. The maximum diameter for the Heat Shrink is 80mm. For fitting advice please see the pictures above.
