They asked for directions to where the child was, as they had seen his star in the sky, but she did not know where he was, but provided them with shelter, as she was the best housekeeper in the village, with the most pleasant home.The Three Wise Men invited her to join them on their journey. She declined saying that she had too much housework… Later, she had a change of heart, and tried to search out the astrologers and Jesus. She was not able to find them, so to this day, La Befana searches for the child.To use give the bottle a shake to mix its magical ingredients. Once combined add a cap full to your floor wash (or bathwater) and wash your home from front to back and out the door. You may also wash yourself from top to bottom. Pour your wash water at the base of the steps to your home to draw all the good luck and prosperity into your home.
