This ritual wash is also said to bring clarity in healing matters of the mind, body, and spirit.This embroidered pouch contains 3 “tea bags” of herbs sustainably collected from the highlands in the Ukrainian Carpathians and was traditionally used as a herbal steam bath, these herbs have the ability to relieve fatigue and eliminate irritation. The aroma will float across the whole body, healing and rejuvenating.The Ukrainian Carpathians, also known as Wooded Carpathians, are famous for their breathtaking landscapes, fresh air, abundance of medicinal herbs, and unique traditions of the local population named Hutsuls. In the mountains, the cold season is longer than in the lowlands, and so Hutsuls have a tradition of bathing in steam baths called banyas to keep themselves healthy, clean, and warm. Such baths are alleged to help boost the immune system and prevent the common cold thanks to juniper and other herbs.To use take 1 filter bag and steep in 1 – 1.5 litres of boiling water. Infuse 25-30 minutes and add to the bath water. If you did not want to steam yourself in the tub another way to prolong your bags would be to make a strong pot of tea and keep it refrigerated. You can then add a cup of it to your bath, or even use it by the spoonful to ritually wash your hands or face. Note: These tea bags can be used more than once if they are properly air dried out after steeping.To attract things to you and for positive work wash upwards (bottom to top / toe to head).
