Akrapovič Porsche Cayman GT4/Boxster Spyder (718) Slip-On Race Line Titanium Exhaust System Pre February 2020 Only Sound, design, and performance come together in this stunning Akrapovič exhaust system, engineered to deliver an unparalleled aural experience. The Akrapovič sound engineers have meticulously tuned the exhaust to provide a rich, harmonic, high-frequency tone at higher revs, perfectly complementing the deep sound in the lower range. This unique combination delivers an immersive cabin experience, free from drone, with a sound that resonates long after the throttle is released. Constructed from lightweight high-grade titanium, this system features parts made in Akrapovič’s in-house foundry to ensure a perfect fit within the car’s limited space. It includes three mufflers—two side and one central—arranged in a unique configuration, engineered for optimal performance. There are two available sets of round titanium tailpipes, sandblasted and coated in either a natural titanium finish or black. The tailpipes feature an inner dynamic relief surface, enhancing their aesthetic appeal, and an engraved Akrapovič logotype adds to their visual presence. Power gains of 4.8 kW at 3,000 rpm and a torque increase of 15.8 Nm at 2,900 rpm were recorded on the Akrapovič dyno, with testing done against a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 stock exhaust system. This performance, coupled with its innovative design, makes this exhaust system ideal for racing track use. For additional upgrades, there is a Link pipe set in titanium for the Slip-On Line Race (Titanium), and a carbon-fibre diffuser—available in matte or high gloss—can be added to highlight the design of the Akrapovič tailpipes. The optional Akrapovič Sound Kit allows full control over the exhaust valves, letting the driver select their preferred sound setting at any time. This system also fits on vehicles equipped with an Otto particulate filter (OPF).
