Forge Motorsport Valve Service Kit The Forge Motorsport Valve Service Kit is a recommended maintenance solution for the Peugeot / BMW Mini 1.6 Turbo engines, specifically the Peugeot 207/307/308 GT Turbo and BMW Mini Cooper S Turbo R56/57 models with the N14 engines. This kit is designed for vehicles that have undergone an ECU software upgrade to increase boost pressure, as well as unmodified vehicles operating in warmer climates. The OEM solenoid valve commonly experiences issues such as a split diaphragm, which can prevent the valve from opening fully or not at all. This can result in reduced performance and potential damage to the turbo. The diaphragm retaining ring is also prone to failure, leading to sealing problems and potential turbo damage. The Forge Motorsport Valve Service Kit offers a fully engineered solution to these issues. The Forge valve is piston-based, eliminating the need for a diaphragm that can fail. It is constructed entirely of aluminum for improved durability and reliability. The valve replaces the original unit and retains the OEM ECU control over valve actuation.
