This complete kit allows you to adjust the valve’s performance for optimal boost pressure and dumping capabilities. If you’re experiencing excessive dumping or loss of boost pressure, it may be an indication that a stronger spring is required. On the other hand, if the valve fails to dump, a weaker spring may be necessary. It’s important to note that installing a stronger spring will not increase boost pressure unless there is existing pressure loss. Installing a spring that is too strong can potentially damage the turbocharger. The Forge Motorsport Blow Off/Diverter Valve Tuning Kit includes springs in different colors, each representing a specific pressure range. The color coding is as follows: Green – 5-15 PSI (0.35-1.03 Bar), Yellow – 15-23 PSI (1.03-1.59 Bar), Blue – 23-30 PSI (1.59-2.07 Bar), Red – 30 PSI (2.07 Bar ). Please note that the red springs should not be used with DVR or DV007 diaphragm valves. It’s important to match the tuning kit to your engine’s requirements to avoid serious damage.
