SLS (selective laser sintering) is a high quality process where layers of nylon powder are fused together. This gives a strong, accurate and lightweight part that is well suited to exterior use. After printing, the surrounds are media blasted to smooth the surface and then coloured black. This creates a finish that sits well with the standard bumper plastics and grille.
