This kit uses 2” length shocks on the front and 3” shocks on the rear to give the extra articulation that is needed when going off road. This kit can also be used with or without a suspension lift. A front anti roll bar can be used with a spacer. This suspension kit gives the best of both worlds, on and off road use. And extended bump stops if fitting a spring lift. Protect the shock absorber from paint chips and rust by using this GL1249, Shock Absorber Protection Heat Shrink. They come ready assembled with the bushes and our bush isolation washers on each end (these bush isolation washers are very important, to help stop the pin of the shock wearing away, all our shocks come with them ready fitted). The OME Shocks are designed to provide enhanced ride comfort and handling on and off road. Its finely tuned and balanced valving system is among the most advanced on the market. If your Defender 90 is very light on the rear carries no extra weight and would like to improve comfort, then these GL2001 shocks can be fitted to the rear as they are softer valved, you will need our GL1171 Pin/Pin shock mounts to fit them.
